TERMS & CONDITIONS

Applicants must be at least 30 years of age.

Open to individuals from countries that have diplomatic relations with Malaysia.

Individual applicant: RM150,000

Family: RM300,000

Individual : RM10,000 per month

Family : RM15,000 per month

All applicants must purchase high rise property with minimum RM600,000 purchase price.

Spouse, parents, parents in-laws and children (including adopted children/ step children) below 21 years of age.

Minimum cumulative stay period of 30 days per year in Sabah.

Only applicable in Sabah.
Not allowed to be used to work in Malaysia.
Duration of SABAH-MM2H is 10 years, i.e. visa to be issued for first 5 years while remaining 5 years to be issued after security and minimum stay check at the end of the first 5 years.
Application of extension, change of principal or change of nationality must undergo security and minimum stay check subject to the Immigration Act.
Business investors are allowed.

Applicant must obtain confirmation from the authority in the country of origin.

Applicant must be covered by medical insurance for the duration of the SABAH-MM2H pass in Sabah.

Applicant must show proof of medical check up after obtaining conditional pass.

Applicant is required to pay a security bond to the Immigration Department.

A sponsor must be a local Sabahan residing in Sabah.

Fixed deposit withdrawal is only allowed at maximum 40% after two (2) years in the programme for reasons to purchase property, car deposit, education expenses for children or medical expenses.
Purchase of Property must abide by conditions stipulated in the Sabah State Government Circular (April 2022): Guideline for Purchase of Property by Foreigners in Sabah.
Disposal of Property: Property can only be sold after five (5) years from the date of purchase with the condition that another property must be purchased with minimum RM600,000 of purchase price.
Visa fee is RM500.00 per year for each applicant and each of his/ her dependent(s).
