Sabah is the second-largest state in Malaysia, covering an area of approximately 73,631 square kilo meters (28,534 square miles) and a population estimated of 3.9 million people. Its vast territory encompasses diverse landscapes, including coastal areas, mountains, rainforests, and islands. The expansive land area of Sabah contributes to its rich biodiversity and provides a range of habitats for various flora and fauna. 

 

Sabah has twenty eight (28) districts and Kota Kinabalu is the capital city of Sabah.
