WHO CAN APPLY

Open to individuals from countries that have diplomatic relations with Malaysia except Israel, Nigeria and Bangladesh.

AGE REQUIREMENT

Applicants must be at least 30 years of age.

PROCESSING FEE (ONE-OFF)

RM3,000 for every application (non-refundable). RM1,500 for subsequent renewal.

DEPENDENTS

Spouse (husband/wife), parents, parents in-laws and children*.

Age of children

-Below 21 years old or still a full time student without any form of employment.

MEDICAL INSURANCE

FINANCIAL REQUIREMENTS

USD 500,000.00 deposit to be placed in Trust Fund under State Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment.

Maximum withdrawal of 40% is allowed on the principal deposit value after 2 years of participation in the program for the purposes of purchasing a residence, education and medical activities in Malaysia.

MINIMUM LENGTH OF STAY

Minimum cumulative stay period of 30 days per year in Sabah.

MEDICAL CHECKUP

Applicant must show proof of medical check up after obtaining conditional pass.

CAREER OPPORTUNITIES

Not allowed. The relevant pass must be requested.

SABAH-MM2H PASS

• Multiple Entry Visa (MEV) for principal and dependents for a period of 15 years.​

• Renewable.​

PURCHASE OF RESIDENCE

All applicants must purchase and own a residence in Sabah after obtaining the approval as SABAH-MM2H participant with minimum  purchase price of RM 1,000,000.00.

CHANGE OF PRINCIPAL

In the event of death of the principal, the Sabah MM2H Pass of the deceased is transferable to the spouse until the end of ten (10) years term.​

AGENT/SPONSOR

Applicant must submit application through agent that have been licensed by the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Environment.

EXISTING MM2H HOLDERS

• MM2H pass will indicate SABAH only. All existing holders of MM2H in Sabah to only reside in SABAH.

• Sabah MM2H can only reside in Sabah.

• Renewal will be approved based on previous criteria.
